Conservation
Beyond the splendid landscape, both the hamlet and the ravine of Masca enclose special natural and cultural values. Moreover, they are located in the Teno Rural Park, a protected natural area which—in addition to its great biological diversity—is filled with interesting geomorphological history and a rich ethnographic heritage. It is also part of the European Natura 2000 network.
Your responsible attitude is essential for these places to be preserved and continue to be enjoyed in the future.
We ask that you show your respect for the local population
Please do not interfere in their privacy or invade their private property as you pass through the hamlet or the roads that line the orchards. Follow the signposted path and be silent. Masca is a perfect place to forget about the clock and the hustle and bustle. Come and discover it, taste it and support its local products. To learn more about the cultural values of the hamlet, which has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, you can consult the Masca hamlet section.
Please respect the nature on the trail
